A dynamic community enterprise serving the people of Llangynfelyn and the wider area.|
We've now had confirmation of the final part of our funding package from the EU RCDF. This means we can now sign contracts and actually start work. Many thanks to Shelagh and Charlie for all their work raising the money.
You can see more details, plus some pictures of the new building, on our Big Build Blog
The Annual General Meeting of Cwmni Cymunedol Cletwr was held on Sunday November 27th.
The meeting heard reports from the Chair and Treasurer, and elections were held for the Board of Directors. Three directors stood down: Shelagh Hourahane, Sylvie Fombonne and Marie Hockenhull-Smith. All three were thanked for their work for Cletwr. A presentation was made to Shelagh who was standing down after five years as Chair, and without whom Cletwr would not be the success it is.
Two new directors were elected: Chris Forster-Brown and Ant Jarrett.
The remaining directors were re-appointed: Helen Ovens, Cath Lloyd Williams, Rose Phillips, Barry Wise and Nigel Callaghan.
Barry was re-elected as Treasurer, Rose was elected as Secretary and Nigel as Chair.
We've set up a new blog to report on the progress of the new building
